Sinus Lift Augmentation

A sinus lift augmentation/graft is a surgical procedure that restores the sinus cavity to its original size and replaces the bone that has been lost as a result of the enlarged sinus. This new bone graft typically takes nine to 12 months to heal before the dental implants can be placed into the grafted bone.

Autogenous Bone Grafting

Occasionally, the ideal areas for dental implants do not have sufficient bone quantity to support the implants. In these cases, it is often necessary to “borrow” bone from another area of your mouth and graft it into the deficient area. Often, the area of choice is from the chin or in the back of the jaw where your wisdom teeth used to be.

Implant Site Development

When a tooth needs to be removed due to infection, it is not uncommon to have lost bone around the infected tooth. In these cases, various types of bone grafting can be done at the same time the tooth is removed to facilitate the placement of a dental implant at a later date.

Computer-Enhanced Treatment Planning

We have special software on our computer that allows us to evaluate your dental CT scan in three dimensions for bone quality, bone quantity, and bone location, enabling the best possible placement of your dental implants. This also allows us to work closely and smoothly with your restorative dentist to ensure an ideal result where your dental implants are concerned.

Meet The Doctor

Kunal Narang, DDS is an internationally-trained and highly-specialized UCSF trained Cosmetic and Implant Dentist who serves patients in Redmond and greater Seattle communities. Dr. Kunal primarily focuses on patient comfort and strives to educate and motivate his patients about their oral and general health. Dr. Kunal is an expert at saving teeth by performing root canals especially in teeth with questionable prognosis due to caries or infection. Additionally, his training and skill set for Implant dentistry provides an emphatic paradigm of treatment choices for his patients.

With over a decade of experience in general, cosmetic, emergency and implant dentistry, Dr. Kunal is skilled in many procedures, including root canal therapy, surgical extractions, and dental implants. He received his Doctorate of Dental Sciences from the University of California San Francisco and has continued to expand the scope of his practice through expansive continuing education. Dr. Kunal has over 10 years of experience in Implant diagnosis, treatment planning and performing complex implant surgeries. From Hiossen to Nobel Biocare implant continuing education to training at the esteemed Pikos Institute and collaborating at several study clubs with Periodontists and Prosthodontists; Dr. Kunal Narang believes in the power of learning and keeping abreast with latest techniques and modern technologies.

Dr. Kunal met his wife, Megha Anand at UC San Francisco. Dr Megha is a UW trained Orthodontist and has her Orthodontic practice in the Newcastle/ Bellevue area. Dr. Kunal and Dr. Megha have been married for 10 years and have a beautiful 3 year old daughter and awaiting the arrival of their son in February 2021. They are active members of their local communities and are passionate about traveling.

Dr. Kunal is a committed professional who enjoys interacting with his patients and helping them, whether they are visiting for a routine cleaning or are having an emergency procedure or complex implant treatment.
